Artist Bio:
The Texans were an American country music band formed in 1987. The group consisted of four members: Denny Clendenin, Greg Young, Randy Bailey, and John Powell. They were known for their traditional country sound, blending elements of honky-tonk and Western swing in their music. The Texans released their debut album, "The Texans," in 1988, which featured songs such as "Empty Glass" and "When I'm Away from You." They went on to release a few more albums throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.


The Texans garnered a following in the country music scene for their authentic sound and energetic live performances. They toured extensively and performed at various country music festivals and venues across the United States. Despite not achieving mainstream commercial success, The Texans were respected within the country music industry for their dedication to preserving the traditional country music sound.
