Artist Bio:
The Toys were an American pop music group formed in 1961 in Jamaica, New York. The group consisted of two female singers, Barbara Harris and June Montiero, and a male singer, Barbara Parritt. They are best known for their hit single "A Lover's Concerto," which was released in 1965 and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was a reworking of a classical piece by Johann Sebastian Bach, and it became a classic of the girl group sound of the 1960s.

The Toys released several other singles throughout the 1960s, but none were able to match the success of "A Lover's Concerto." The group disbanded in the late 1960s, but their music continues to be remembered and celebrated by fans of 1960s pop music.
