The Tymes were an American soul vocal group formed in Philadelphia in the early 1960s. The group consisted of members George Williams, Albert Berry, Norman Burnett, and Donald Banks. They are best known for their hit songs "So Much in Love" and "Wonderful! Wonderful!" which both reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the 1960s.
The Tymes were signed to the Cameo-Parkway record label and later to Columbia Records. They achieved success with their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads, becoming popular in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The Tymes continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with various lineup changes over the years. Their music has endured through the decades and they are remembered as one of the notable vocal groups of the soul music era.
