The Tymes are an American soul vocal group that formed in Philadelphia in the early 1960s. The original members included George Williams, Albert Berry, Norman Burnett, and Donald Banks. They are best known for their hit songs "So Much in Love" and "Wonderful! Wonderful!" which both reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the 1960s. "So Much in Love" was their biggest hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963.
The Tymes' smooth harmonies and romantic lyrics made them popular in the doo-wop and R&B music scenes of the 1960s. They continued to release music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with moderate success on the charts. The group still performs today, with new members joining the lineup over the years to continue bringing their signature sound to audiences around the world.
