Artist Bio:
The Undisputed Truth is an American Motown group that was formed in 1970. Originally a trio, the group was created by record producer Norman Whitfield as a means of experimenting with his psychedelic soul sound. The original members were Joe "Pep" Harris, Billie Rae Calvin, and Brenda Joyce Evans. The Undisputed Truth is best known for their hit single "Smiling Faces Sometimes," which reached the top of the Billboard R&B chart in 1971.


The group went through various lineup changes over the years, with different members joining and leaving. Despite these changes, The Undisputed Truth continued to release music throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Their music often featured socially conscious themes and complex vocal arrangements.
