Artist Bio:
The Unifics were an American soul vocal group formed in Washington, D.C. in the 1960s. The group consisted of members Al Johnson, Tom Fauntleroy, Marvin Brown, and Michael Ward. The Unifics gained popularity in the late 1960s with their smooth harmonies and soulful sound.
Their biggest hit came in 1968 with the song "Court of Love," which reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group continued to release music throughout the late 1960s and into the early 1970s, but they never achieved the same level of success as they did with "Court of Love." Despite their relatively short-lived commercial success, The Unifics are remembered as an influential soul group from the era, known for their tight harmonies and classic soul sound.
