The Vanilla Fudge gained popularity in the late 1960s with their self-titled debut album, which included their signature slowed-down, heavy rock cover of The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On." They continued to release several albums throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s before disbanding in 1970. The band has reunited several times over the years for tours and new music releases, showcasing their unique blend of psychedelic and hard rock influences.
