Artist Bio:
The Vibrations were an American soul music vocal group formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1950s. The group originally consisted of Carl Fisher, Dave Govan, James Johnson, Ricky Owens, and Don Bradley. They first gained recognition with their hit single "The Watusi" in 1961, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard R&B chart. The Vibrations continued to release a series of successful singles throughout the 1960s, including "My Girl Sloopy" and "Misty." They were known for their smooth harmonies and energetic performances, which helped them build a loyal fan base.

The Vibrations' music was characterized by a blend of doo-wop, rhythm and blues, and soul, which made them popular among audiences during the heyday of Motown and soul music. Despite experiencing changes in their lineup over the years, the group continued to perform and record music into the 1970s. Their contributions to the soul music genre have earned The Vibrations a lasting place in music history.
