The Videls were an American doo-wop group formed in the late 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Larry Rudolph, baritone singer Bobby Calitri, tenor singer Donnie Malone, and bass singer Ray Adams. They are best known for their hit song "Mr. Lonely," which was released in 1960 and peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group was signed to the JDS record label and released several singles throughout their career.


Despite their limited commercial success, The Videls are remembered for their smooth harmonies and classic doo-wop sound. They were active in the music industry for a few years before disbanding in the early 1960s. The Videls' music continues to be celebrated by fans of doo-wop and 1960s pop music.
