The Viscounts were an American pop and rock band formed in New Jersey in 1960. The group consisted of members Bobby Vinton, Elmer "Buzzy" Kratzer, Joe Long, and Billy Tureff. They are best known for their instrumental song "Harlem Nocturne," which reached number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966. The song has since become a classic and has been featured in various movies and TV shows.
