The Who is a British rock band formed in London in 1964. The group originally consisted of lead vocalist Roger Daltrey, guitarist and vocalist Pete Townshend, bass guitarist and vocalist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. The Who are considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, known for their energetic live performances and innovative music, which often incorporated elements of rock opera and concept albums.
The band gained popularity with hits such as "My Generation," "Pinball Wizard," and "Baba O'Riley." They are also known for their iconic album "Tommy," which was later transformed into a successful rock opera.
