The Wildweeds were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Windsor, Connecticut. The band's original lineup consisted of Al Anderson, Andy Lepak, Rick Canoff, Bob Dudek, and drummer Skip Yakaitis. They gained popularity in the late 1960s with their unique blend of rock, pop, and psychedelic music.


In 1967, The Wildweeds released their debut album titled "Wildweeds," which included their most successful single "No Good to Cry." The song reached #88 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite their brief success, The Wildweeds disbanded in 1970. Al Anderson went on to have a successful music career as a songwriter and guitarist, eventually joining the country band NRBQ. The Wildweeds' music continues to be celebrated by fans of 1960s rock music.
