The Young Rascals, also known as The Rascals, were an American rock band formed in 1965 in New York City. The original lineup consisted of Felix Cavaliere on vocals and keyboards, Eddie Brigati on vocals, Gene Cornish on guitar, and Dino Danelli on drums. They were known for their blue-eyed soul sound, incorporating elements of R&B, rock, and pop music.
The band achieved great success in the 1960s with hits such as "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. The Young Rascals were known for their energetic live performances and their ability to blend different musical styles into a cohesive and memorable sound.
