The Young Rascals, later known simply as The Rascals, were an American rock band formed in New York City in 1965. The original members were Felix Cavaliere on vocals and keyboard, Eddie Brigati on vocals, Gene Cornish on guitar, and Dino Danelli on drums. The band was known for their blue-eyed soul sound and had a string of hits in the mid-1960s, including "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free." The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
