The Young Rascals, later known as just The Rascals, were an American rock band formed in New Jersey in 1965. The original lineup consisted of members Felix Cavaliere on vocals and keyboards, Eddie Brigati on vocals, Gene Cornish on guitar, and Dino Danelli on drums. The band achieved great success in the mid-1960s with hits such as "Good Lovin'", "Groovin'", and "People Got to Be Free".
Known for their blue-eyed soul sound and energetic live performances, The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. Their music has been influential in the development of rock and pop music, and they remain a beloved band among fans of 1960s music.
