The Zombies are an English rock band formed in 1961 in St Albans, England. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Colin Blunstone, keyboardist and bassist Rod Argent, guitarist Paul Atkinson, and drummer Hugh Grundy. They are known for their unique blend of psychedelic rock, baroque pop, and jazz influences.
Their most famous songs include "She's Not There" and "Time of the Season," both of which became hits in the 1960s. The Zombies released their debut album, "Begin Here," in 1965, followed by other successful albums such as "Odessey and Oracle" in 1968. Despite initially disbanding in 1967, The Zombies reunited in the 1990s and continue to perform and record music to this day, with a sound that is characterized by their intricate melodies, lush vocal harmonies, and sophisticated arrangements.
