Thomas Dolby is an English musician and producer born on October 14, 1958. He is best known for his new wave and synth-pop music in the 1980s. Dolby's breakthrough came with the release of his debut album "The Golden Age of Wireless" in 1982, which featured the hit single "She Blinded Me with Science." He continued to produce music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, exploring different genres such as electronic, pop, and even film scores.


In addition to his music career, Dolby is also a successful producer and innovator in the field of music technology. He created the software company Headspace, which developed the first polyphonic ringtone synthesizer for mobile phones. Dolby has also served as a musical director for the TED Conference and continues to perform live and release new music to this day.
