Thompson Twins were a British pop band formed in 1977. The band was originally a trio consisting of Tom Bailey, Joe Leeway, and Pete Dodd, but later expanded to include other members. They achieved international success in the 1980s with their catchy synth-pop sound and energetic live performances. Some of their most popular songs include "Hold Me Now," "Lay Your Hands on Me," and "Doctor! Doctor!"
The Thompson Twins released a total of 9 studio albums, with their most successful being "Into the Gap" in 1984. The band's lineup changed several times over the years, with Bailey being the consistent member throughout their career. They disbanded in 1993, but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of 80s pop music.
