Artist Bio:
Thompson Twins were a British pop band formed in 1977. The core members of the band were Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie, and Joe Leeway. They achieved international success in the 1980s with their catchy synth-pop sound and distinctive visual style. The band's name was a reference to the two detectives from the comic strip "The Adventures of Tintin."

Thompson Twins released a string of hit singles, including "Hold Me Now," "Lay Your Hands on Me," and "Doctor! Doctor!" Their albums, such as "Into the Gap" and "Quick Step and Side Kick," were also well-received by both critics and fans. Thompson Twins disbanded in 1993, but their music continues to be celebrated and remembered as an iconic part of the 1980s pop music landscape.
