Artist Bio:
Thompson Twins were a British pop band formed in 1977. The band was originally a trio consisting of Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie, and Joe Leeway. They achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with their catchy synth-pop sound and energetic live performances. Their breakthrough album was "Into the Gap" released in 1984, which included hits like "Hold Me Now" and "Doctor! Doctor!" The band's lineup changed over the years, with Tom Bailey being the only constant member throughout their career.

Thompson Twins released a total of 12 studio albums and had several chart-topping singles in the UK and US. They were known for their distinctive fashion sense, incorporating bright colors and unique hairstyles into their image. The band eventually disbanded in the early 1990s, but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of 80s pop music.
