Artist Bio:
Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in 1967. The band's name refers to an Australian Aboriginal custom of sleeping with dogs on cold nights for warmth. Three Dog Night achieved commercial success in the late 1960s and 1970s with a string of hits such as "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," and "One." Their music style is often described as a blend of rock, pop, and rhythm and blues.
The band's lineup has gone through several changes over the years, but some of the original members included vocalists Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron. Three Dog Night was known for their powerful three-part harmonies and energetic live performances. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000 and continue to tour and perform to this day.
