Artist Bio:
Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in 1967. The group achieved commercial success in the late 1960s and early 1970s with hits like "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," and "Black and White." They were known for their unique sound that blended rock, pop, and rhythm and blues, as well as their three lead vocalists, which was a relatively uncommon setup for bands at that time. The band's name comes from an Australian aboriginal custom of sleeping with three dogs on a cold night for warmth.

Three Dog Night released a total of 21 consecutive Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making them one of the most successful bands of their era. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000. Despite lineup changes over the years, the band continues to tour and perform, maintaining a loyal fan base.
