Thriving Ivory was an American rock band formed in 2004 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The band's lineup consisted of Clayton Stroope (vocals), Drew Cribley (guitar), Bret Cohune (bass), Paul Niedermier (drums), and Scott Jason (keyboards). Thriving Ivory gained popularity with their hit song "Angels On The Moon," which garnered significant airplay and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009.
The band's music was characterized by emotive lyrics, anthemic melodies, and a blend of rock and alternative influences. Although their mainstream success was largely tied to "Angels On The Moon," Thriving Ivory released two studio albums and toured extensively before disbanding in 2010. Despite their relatively short career, the band left a lasting impact on fans of alternative rock music.
