Artist Bio:
Timothy B. Schmit is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his work as the bassist and vocalist for the rock bands Poco and the Eagles. He was born on October 30, 1947, in Oakland, California. Schmit joined Poco in 1970 and contributed to the band's success with his vocals and bass playing. In 1977, he joined the Eagles, replacing Randy Meisner as the band's bassist and vocalist. Schmit's tenure with the Eagles included their successful albums "The Long Run" and "Hotel California."


Throughout his career, Timothy B. Schmit has also released solo albums, including "Playin' It Cool" and "Expando." He has collaborated with various artists and continued to perform both as a solo artist and with the Eagles during their reunion tours. Schmit's distinctive voice and skilled bass playing have made him a respected figure in the rock music industry.
