The group was formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990 and originally consisted of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. TLC is known for their R&B, hip hop, and pop music, as well as their catchy songs and unique fashion style. They released hit songs such as "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Creep," which helped them become one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.
TLC has won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards, and has sold over 65 million records worldwide. The group faced tragedy in 2002 when Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a car accident, but T-Boz and Chilli continued to perform as TLC.
