TLC achieved great success in the 1990s with their mix of R&B, hip hop, and pop music, and became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Known for their bold fashion choices, empowering lyrics, and unique sound, TLC's music often addressed social issues and female empowerment. Tragically, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes passed away in a car accident in 2002, but T-Boz and Chilli have continued to perform and release music as TLC.
