Toby Keith is an American country music singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on July 8, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Keith rose to fame in the 1990s with hit singles such as "Should've Been a Cowboy" and "How Do You Like Me Now?!" Keith is known for his patriotic-themed songs, such as "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American)," which became a controversial but commercially successful hit after the September 11 attacks.
