Artist Bio:
Tom Johnston is an American musician and songwriter known for being a founding member of the rock band The Doobie Brothers. He was born on August 15, 1948, in Visalia, California. Johnston was the primary vocalist and one of the main songwriters for the band, contributing to many of their hit songs including "Listen to the Music" and "Long Train Runnin'."


Throughout his career, Johnston has released several solo albums in addition to his work with The Doobie Brothers. He is also recognized for his distinctive guitar playing style and blues-influenced vocals. Johnston's contributions to the music industry have earned him a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as The Doobie Brothers were inducted in 2020.
