Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers were an American rock band formed in Philadelphia in the mid-1980s. The band gained popularity in the local music scene with their energetic live performances and catchy rock tunes. Led by guitarist and vocalist Tommy Conwell, the band's lineup also included Paul Slivka on bass, Jimmy Hannum on drums, Chris Day on guitar, and Rob Miller on keyboards.
Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers released their debut album, "Rumble," in 1988, which included the hit single "I'm Not Your Man." The band's music was characterized by its blend of rock and roll, blues, and punk influences, which appealed to a wide audience. Despite achieving some commercial success, the band disbanded in the early 1990s. Tommy Conwell continued to pursue a solo career and remains a beloved figure in the Philadelphia music scene.
