Edwards started his music career as a member of various vocal groups before launching a successful solo career.
In addition to "It's All in the Game," Edwards had several other hits, including "Please Mr. Sun" and "Love Is All We Need." He continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, although he never reached the same level of success as he did with "It's All in the Game."
