He is best known for his hit song "It's All in the Game," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958. Apart from "It's All in the Game," Edwards had several other successful singles, including "Please Mr. Sun" and "Love Is All We Need." He was known for his smooth vocals and romantic ballads that resonated with audiences. Edwards continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s before his passing on October 22, 1969, at the age of 47.
