Artist Bio:
Tommy James and the Shondells were an American rock band formed in Niles, Michigan in 1964. The band's lead singer was Tommy James, who also played guitar and wrote many of the group's hits. The Shondells were the backing band for Tommy James, and they had a string of hits in the late 1960s, including "Hanky Panky," "Mony Mony," and "Crimson and Clover."


Their music was known for its catchy melodies, energetic performances, and a mix of rock, pop, and psychedelic influences. Tommy James and the Shondells were popular during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and their music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic rock. The band eventually disbanded in 1970, but Tommy James continued to have a successful solo career.
