James is the leader of the rock band Tommy James and the Shondells, which had a string of hits including "Hanky Panky," "Crimson and Clover," and "Mony Mony."
Tommy James started his music career at a young age and signed his first record deal in 1964. Throughout the 1960s, he achieved great success with his band, producing a number of chart-topping singles and albums. Tommy James continues to perform and record music, with a career that has spanned several decades. He was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2018 for his contributions to the music industry.
