Tone-Loc, born Anthony Terrell Smith on March 3, 1966, is an American rapper, actor, and producer. He is best known for his hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," both of which were released in 1989 and became iconic songs in the hip-hop genre. Tone-Loc's debut album, "Lōc-ed After Dark," was the first rap album to top the Billboard 200 chart and achieved multi-platinum status.


In addition to his successful music career, Tone-Loc has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Heat." He is known for his deep, gravelly voice and laid-back delivery style, which have contributed to his enduring popularity in the music industry.
