Tracie Spencer is an American R&B and pop singer who rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She was born on July 12, 1976, in Waterloo, Iowa. Spencer signed with Capitol Records at the young age of 11 and released her self-titled debut album in 1988, which included the hit singles "Hide and Seek" and "Symptoms of True Love." She followed up with her second album, "Make the Difference," in 1990, which featured the popular singles "Tender Kisses" and "This House."


Spencer's music often focused on themes of love, relationships, and empowerment, and she was known for her powerful vocals and soulful delivery.
