Tracy Byrd is a country music artist from Vidor, Texas, born on December 17, 1966. He signed with MCA Nashville Records in 1992 and released his debut album, titled "Tracy Byrd," in 1993. Byrd rose to fame in the 1990s with hits such as "Holdin' Heaven," "Watermelon Crawl," and "The Keeper of the Stars," which won him the Song of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music.


Byrd has released a total of ten studio albums and has charted more than thirty hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart throughout his career. He is known for his traditional country sound and has been nominated for various awards, including the Country Music Association Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards.
