Artist Bio:
Trans-X is a Canadian electronic music project founded by Pascal Languirand in 1981. The project is best known for their hit song "Living on Video," which was released in 1983 and became a major success in Europe, reaching the top 10 in several countries. The song is considered a classic of the synthpop and Italo disco genres.
Following the success of "Living on Video," Trans-X released several albums throughout the 1980s and continued to tour and perform live. While the project's popularity waned in the following decades, Trans-X remains a notable name in the electronic music scene, particularly for their pioneering contributions to the synthpop genre. Pascal Languirand continues to be involved in music production and occasionally releases new material under the Trans-X name.
