Artist Bio:
Transvision Vamp was a British alternative rock band formed in 1986. The band's lead vocalist was Wendy James, who gained attention for her provocative image and punk-influenced style. Transvision Vamp released their debut album, "Pop Art," in 1988, which included hit singles such as "I Want Your Love" and "Baby I Don't Care." The album was well-received and helped establish the band's popularity in the UK and other countries.
Their second album, "Velveteen," was released in 1989 and featured the successful singles "Baby I Don't Care" and "The Only One." However, the band disbanded in 1991 after releasing their third album, "Little Magnets Versus the Bubble of Babble," which was not as commercially successful. Wendy James pursued a solo career after the breakup of Transvision Vamp.
