Trick Daddy, born Maurice Young on September 27, 1973, is an American rapper and music producer from Miami, Florida. He gained fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with his unique Southern hip-hop style that combined elements of gangsta rap with a more laid-back, melodic flow. Trick Daddy's debut album, "Based on a True Story," was released in 1997 and featured the hit single "Nann N***a" featuring fellow rapper Trina.


Throughout his career, Trick Daddy has released several successful albums, including "www.thug.com," "Thug Holiday," and "Thug Matrimony: Married to the Streets." He is known for his gritty, street-oriented lyrics and his ability to blend hardcore rap with catchy hooks and infectious beats. Trick Daddy has collaborated with numerous artists such as Lil Jon, Ludacris, and Rick Ross, further solidifying his place in the Southern hip-hop scene.
