Trick Pony is a country music group formed in 1996 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of members Heidi Newfield (vocals, harmonica), Keith Burns (guitar, vocals), and Ira Dean (bass guitar, vocals). Trick Pony gained popularity in the early 2000s with their energetic live performances and hit songs such as "Pour Me," "On a Night Like This," and "Just What I Do."
The band released several albums on the Warner Bros. Records label, including their self-titled debut album in 2001, which was certified Gold by the RIAA. Trick Pony has been nominated for multiple awards, including the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Despite some lineup changes over the years, Trick Pony continues to tour and perform, maintaining a loyal fan base within the country music community.
