Triumph was a Canadian hard rock band formed in 1975. The band consisted of Rik Emmett on guitar and vocals, Mike Levine on bass, keyboards, and vocals, and Gil Moore on drums and vocals. They were known for their mix of heavy metal and progressive rock elements in their music.
Triumph released several successful albums in the late 1970s and 1980s, including "Just a Game" (1979), "Allied Forces" (1981), and "Never Surrender" (1982). The band achieved commercial success with hits like "Lay it on the Line" and "Magic Power." Triumph was also known for their energetic live performances and elaborate stage shows. They disbanded in 1993 but reunited for a series of concerts in the 2000s.
