Triumph is a Canadian rock band formed in 1975 in Mississauga, Ontario. The band's original lineup consisted of Rik Emmett (guitar, vocals), Gil Moore (drums, vocals), and Mike Levine (bass, keyboards). They are known for their hard rock sound, blending elements of progressive rock, heavy metal, and blues into their music. Triumph achieved commercial success in the late 1970s and 1980s, releasing several hit albums such as "Just a Game" (1979), "Allied Forces" (1981), and "Never Surrender" (1983).


The band is best known for their energetic live performances and powerful anthems like "Lay It on the Line" and "Magic Power." Triumph's music often featured intricate guitar solos and dynamic drumming, showcasing the technical prowess of the band members.
