Troop is an American R&B group that was formed in Pasadena, California in the late 1980s. The group consists of five members: Rodney Benford, John Harreld, Reggie Warren, Steve Russell, and Allen McNeil. Troop gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their smooth harmonies and catchy R&B hits.


Some of Troop's most well-known songs include "Spread My Wings," "All I Do is Think of You," and "Sweet November." The group's debut album, simply titled "Troop," was released in 1988 and achieved commercial success, reaching the top 5 on the Billboard R&B charts. Troop continued to release music throughout the 1990s and has maintained a dedicated fan base.
