Trooper is a Canadian rock band formed in 1975 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band's music is characterized by their catchy melodies, strong vocal harmonies, and energetic live performances. Trooper's original lineup consisted of guitarist/vocalist Ra McGuire, guitarist Brian Smith, keyboardist Frank Ludwig, bassist Tommy Stewart, and drummer Tommy Roy.


Trooper released their self-titled debut album in 1975, which included the hit single "Baby Woncha Please Come Home." The band achieved commercial success in the late 1970s and early 1980s with songs like "Raise a Little Hell," "We're Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time)," and "The Boys in the Bright White Sports Car." Trooper continues to tour and perform, delighting fans with their classic rock hits and high-energy shows.
