Artist Bio:
Twisted Sister is an American heavy metal band formed in 1972. The band's original lineup consisted of Dee Snider (vocals), Jay Jay French (guitar), Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda (guitar), Mark "The Animal" Mendoza (bass), and A.J. Pero (drums). Known for their energetic live performances and rebellious image, Twisted Sister gained popularity in the 1980s with hits like "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock."


The band released several successful albums, including "Stay Hungry" in 1984, which achieved triple-platinum status. Twisted Sister disbanded in 1988 but reunited in the 2000s for occasional performances and tours. They officially retired in 2016 following the death of drummer A.J. Pero. Twisted Sister's influence on the heavy metal genre and their iconic music videos have solidified their place in the history of rock music.
