Tyrese Gibson, known professionally as Tyrese, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and author. He was born on December 30, 1978, in Los Angeles, California. Tyrese first gained fame in the late 1990s as a singer, releasing his debut album "Tyrese" in 1998, which included the hit single "Sweet Lady." He has since released several more albums, with his music often blending R&B, hip hop, and soul influences.


In addition to his music career, Tyrese has also appeared in a number of films, including the "Fast & Furious" franchise, "Transformers," and "Baby Boy." He has also written two books, "How to Get Out of Your Own Way" and "Manology: Secrets of Your Man's Mind Revealed," the latter co-authored with Rev. Run.
