Tyrese Gibson, known professionally as Tyrese, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and author. He was born on December 30, 1978, in Los Angeles, California. Tyrese first gained fame in the late 1990s as a model and then as a singer, releasing his debut album, "Tyrese" in 1998. The album featured the hit single "Sweet Lady," which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Male Vocal Performance.
In addition to his music career, Tyrese has also appeared in several films, including the "Fast & Furious" franchise, "Transformers," and "Baby Boy." He has also written two books, "How to Get Out of Your Own Way" and "Manology: Secrets of Your Man's Mind Revealed," the latter co-authored with Rev Run. Tyrese continues to work in the entertainment industry, balancing his music and acting career while also pursuing other ventures.
