The title track became a major hit, reaching the top of the Billboard R&B chart and establishing Davis as a prominent figure in the soul music scene.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Tyrone Davis continued to release a string of successful albums and singles, including hits like "Turn Back the Hands of Time" and "In the Mood." Known for his smooth vocals and romantic ballads, Davis earned the nickname "the king of romantic soul." He remained active in the music industry until his passing on February 9, 2005, leaving behind a legacy of timeless soul music that continues to be celebrated by fans around the world.
