Tyrone Davis was an American soul and blues singer born on May 4, 1938, in Greenville, Mississippi. He started his music career in the 1960s and gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Can I Change My Mind," "Turn Back the Hands of Time," and "Turning Point." Known for his smooth and soulful voice, Davis was often referred to as the "king of romantic Chicago soul."


Throughout his career, Davis released over 20 albums and had numerous chart-topping singles. He was known for his ability to convey deep emotions through his music, particularly focusing on themes of love and heartbreak. Davis continued to perform and record music until his death on February 9, 2005, leaving behind a legacy as a talented and influential artist in the soul and blues music genres.
