Artist Bio:
Unit Four plus Two was a British pop band formed in the early 1960s. The group consisted of Peter Moules, David "Buster" Meikle, Tommy Moeller, Brian Parker, and Howard Lubin. They are best known for their hit single "Concrete and Clay," which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1965. The song also made it to the Top 40 in the United States, solidifying their international success.
Despite the success of "Concrete and Clay," Unit Four plus Two struggled to replicate the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases. The band eventually disbanded in the late 1960s, with some members pursuing solo careers in music. Unit Four plus Two's legacy lives on through their memorable hit song, which continues to be a nostalgic favorite for fans of 1960s pop music.
